In my undergraduate years at UNI, I experienced some of the most caring teachers I've ever had. I knew my graduate education would be guided by some of the same people, and that they had designed the program in a way that would help me become a better teacher.

My time in the UNI MA Art Education program gave me the experience and knowledge to provide my own students with richer, more meaningful experiences. In addition to keeping me up to date the most current best practices in art education, my research allowed me to explore service learning with the guidance of the most helpful UNI faculty. Now I am able to provide my students with opportunities to use their artwork to take action in their community."
