Action on a policy for transfer credits from a second or third Master's degree to Doctoral programs and also action on a policy for "continuing enrollment" of Master's students were both postponed until the November 9th meeting. Both subcommittees involve Phil Patton from the Registrar's office who has been out of town. The committee discussing transfer credits from a second or third Master's degree to a Doctoral program is scheduled to meet Monday October 30th. The committee for action on a policy for "continuing enrollment" of Master's students has had no objections from the Graduate Curriculum Committee or the Graduate Coordinators.
In selecting a Graduate Council representative for the Regents Excellence in Faculty Awards Committee, Council members requested more specific information that will be distributed before the next meeting. If there are no volunteers, Wallingford will appoint a member to serve.
The meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
