Bankston reported that a letter has been sent to the deans, department heads, and graduate coordinators concerning the changes in graduate assistant stipend policy about variable stipends. For the change to take effect, the Graduate College must be notified prior to the end of January 1999 if a program plans to increase the amount of the stipend.
