INSPIRE SECONDARY STUDENTS IN THEIR SCHOOLS

Teaching English in Secondary Schools (TESS) is an MA program designed for middle and high school teachers. It allows working professionals to earn an MA degree in approximately three years as part of a cohort of fellow teachers. Our students complete coursework in writing practice and pedagogy, classroom research methodologies, and literature study, and they are offered the opportunity to work with faculty to form an individualized research study. Our graduates are prepared to instruct and inspire secondary students in their schools and communities.
