School Psychology, EdS

SUPPORT STUDENTS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND EDUCATORS
The Education Specialist degree is the minimum degree required for the practice of school psychology within the state of Iowa, as well as most other states. It typically involves education-intensive coursework and 30+ credits beyond a Master’s degree. The EdS degree at UNI prepares school psychologists to help support students, their families, and educators. Our students have the opportunity to work and practice in multiple schools in the area to hone their skills as school psychologists.
