Philanthropy and Nonprofit Development (MA)

DEVELOP PROFESSIONAL SKILLS IN AN INTERDISCIPLINARY SETTING
The UNI Department of Health, Recreation and Community Services, in cooperation with Continuing and Distance Education, offers an MA degree program in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Development via distance learning. Designed for both recent graduates and professionals currently employed in philanthropy and nonprofit settings with 2-5 years of experience, this interdisciplinary program is designed to develop professional’s skills and knowledge in the fundraising and nonprofit sectors and further their understanding of ethical policy and legal issues as they relate to philanthropy and nonprofit development. The Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential, the only national nonprofit credential preparing students for leadership in the nonprofit sector, is offered to all graduates.
