Graduate students have outstanding opportunities for conducting campus ensembles and assisting in conducting classes, and develop comprehensive knowledge of music through study of music theory, history, and analysis within the Graduate Music Core. Our graduate students are well prepared for entrance into doctoral programs, are frequently accepted into prestigious summer festivals and young artist programs, and enjoy successful careers as conductors, performers and educators.
