RESEARCH RELEVANT ISSUES WITHIN YOUR CLASSROOM

If you are passionate about supporting the educational needs and interests of children, UNI’s elementary education program is the right fit for you. This program is designed for K-6 elementary classroom teachers with licensure in the field of elementary education. You’ll take courses addressing curriculum issues, literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and action research. They are designed using the Quality Matters set of professional standards based upon research, best practices, and national standards for course design. Throughout the course sequence, you’ll have the opportunity to conduct faculty-guided teacher research on relevant issues within your classroom context.
