For more than a century, the University of Northern Iowa has educated teachers of young children. The online Early Childhood Education MA program provides educational professionals with the theory and practice to become leaders in the field of Early Childhood Education. This program is designed for classroom teachers who hold an early childhood teaching license and who are teaching children from birth through third grade. Through a diverse program of coursework, you will gain a sound understanding of different curricula, issues, trends, teaching methods, research, and leadership roles.
