Community Health and Recreation (MA)

IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN COMMUNITIES
The Master of Arts degree in Community Health and Recreation provides training for individuals planning to seek employment as community leaders in the administration of public health, recreation, tourism and nonprofit agencies. This degree program provides graduate level training in leadership, research skills, cultural competency, and social policy. Elective courses allow students to design programs of study for future work in recreation, nonprofit settings, public health, environmental health, sports administration, tourism, and natural resource management.
